It goes without saying that I love my patients, otherwise I wouldn’t have become a doctor after all. The doctor’s charity depends very much on his personality. Some finished patients take off their ears, others devote the necessary ear to them. Certain doctors can even feel their way into the patients and thus understand their problems even better.
Unfortunately, we have only learned what is written in the textbook. We have learned that iron deficiency patients do not have to be treated until the final stage of anaemia. It therefore does not occur to us to think about whether missing iron should perhaps be given at an earlier stage. And behold, Switzerland is leading the way, with huge success.
